The Brunswick Housing Authority (BHA) is located in beautiful Brunswick, GA. Established in 1938, BHA provides improved living conditions for very low and low-income families while maintaining rent payments at an affordable level. BHA has also successfully partnered with Honeywell to perform sweeping green changes within its communities.

D+B Professional Resource provided design services to BHA for remodeling and upgrading the Public Housing units for seven communities in its portfolio. This included assisting BHA staff in making interior design decisions and understanding remodeling options. In keeping with a project theme of ‘Changing the Face of Public Housing’, each BHA community was given its own unique interior design. Responsibilities included the production of design and construction documents outlining color, quality, lighting, construction material standards, flooring options, kitchen remodels, bath upgrades, and trim options. Full color boards were also produced for presentations to the public.
